Recommended Album of the Week
You read that right, I thought I'd mix it up and recommend an entire album this week. This past month I've bought several new albums. One of my favorite ones is Gemini Syndrome's new one "Memento Mori". I didn't know who they even were until this past year, but man was I missing out. These guys are great, their lyrics are just simply awesome, each song tells a story. Some of these songs have actually inspired my stories I am working on as well. I loved this album so much, that I went and bought their first one as well for $4 on Amazon. My favorite tracks on the new one are the hit single "Remember we Die", along with "Zealot", "Say Goodnight", and "Gravedigger". Although every song is pretty damn good. I 100% am confident in recommending this whole album.
Recommended Movie of the Week
The Movie this week is an older action comedy called "National Security". My brother and I use to watch this all the time when we were kids. Steve Zahn and Martin Lawrence are the two leading stars, offering tons of hilarious scenes. The plot starts when police officer Hank's(Steve Zahn) partner is killed by anonymous smuggler's. He goes on a mission to avenge him, but in his way is wanna be cop, Earl( Martin Lawrence). Who ends up getting Hank thrown in jail over a "Beat down", (that didn't actually happen). But after he surrenders his badge and gets out of jail, he becomes a security guard still looking for the smugglers. But it just so happens Earl is also a security guard, by a strange occurrence of events these two must team up to stop the smugglers. This is a great film if you just want a good laugh, and it's also a great film for America right now, with all of the racist tension going on.
