For the song this week I could go with no other than my boys in Hollywood Undead! They're back and their new album comes out October 27th. Its called V, their fifth studio album. The first single is California Dreaming. It's a pretty badass straight Hollywood Undead track.
Recommended Movie
I'm going way way back in time for the movie this week, opposite of last weeks. The movie this week is going to "To Kill a Mockingbird" from 1962. I recently had read the book, and it was great, I recommend that too. The book is a little better, but the movie does it justice as well. To me this story was ahead of it's time, and the sad part is many of the things Atticus says about racial segregation still stands to this day, 50 years later! How messed up is that? The story is told from the perspective of a little girl when she's older, Scout Finch, her and her brother Jem go on little adventures in their neighborhood in 1930s America. But their father Atticus is defending a black man wrongly accused of raping a white woman. Atticus is an amazing character to me, and his wisdom and advice should be things we all bear in mind. Since it's older I couldn't find a trailer, but here is an iconic scene from it, and one where you should listen to every word.
